Women’s Elite

The race starts in the centre of ljubljana at kongresni trg (congress square). During the 9-kilometre neutralised section, the riders will pass through the city centre, including the iconic triple bridge, before continuing along šubičeva, bleiweisova and celovška roads to kilometre 0 in šentvid.

The flat section of the course runs through škofja loka, the centre of kranj and the arboretum in volčji potok, and continues via kamnik, komenda and klanec. In cerklje na gorenjskem, near strmol castle, the route joins the circuit and crosses the finish line in šenčur for the first time.

The race will be decided over two laps of a 22.1 km circuit, each featuring 367 metres of elevation gain. The road climbs gradually via a short ascent through olševek towards tupaliče. After a sharp right-hand turn, a steep climb to možjanca begins. The ascent does not end at the summit, as a narrow road continues over rolling terrain that leaves no room for recovery. A technically demanding descent leads to the lower cable car station at krvavec, followed by a fast valley section where speeds are exceptionally high. Passing strmol castle, just over 7 kilometres remain to complete the lap.
